Month one of coaching
Real life happened and progress still happened.

Strong start
He started the month well and made good early progress following his training and nutrition.
Work changed the routine
He picked up extra work shifts with much less control over the meals available. Rather than treating the week as ruined, we worked around the food available and focused on practical choices.
Travel / fishing / holiday
His month also included time away and a holiday. He ate, drank and enjoyed his life. Tracking wasn't perfect. We stayed in communication and focused on small improvements where possible rather than expecting perfection.
Back to normal
When he returned there was no punishment diet, no extreme calorie restriction and no attempt to undo the holiday. Just back to the normal plan, better tracking, steps back up and sensible food choices.
Result
96 kg → 94 kg
-2 kg in month one
The point isn't just the 2 kg. Real life happened and progress still happened.
- The month wasn't perfect.
- The client wasn't perfect.
- The coaching didn't need him to be.
This is what Method Fitness is about.
How it actually went
01 · Real life happens
A fishing boat for 3–4 days
No normal gym sessions, and he'd be eating whatever the chef made. No telling him he'd failed — just track what you can and we'll see what happens.

A week in Sweden, no gym
Instead of writing the week off: keep the steps up and, if possible, a simple hotel circuit — 10 press-ups, 10 squats, 10 sit-ups, 5 sets each morning.

Weekly check-in
Check-ins kept going through it all — what's working, what to change, and where to focus next.

96 kg → 94 kg
1 September to 28 September. Not a perfect month — a consistent one.
