For parents & guardians

Responsible from the start.

Method Teen is designed specifically for teenagers, and parent or guardian consent is required before anyone under 18 starts. No restrictive dieting or calorie deficits are ever given to teenagers.

Parent / guardian consent

Method Teen is for under-18s only with a parent or guardian's consent. A parent or guardian confirms consent before their teenager starts, and is welcome to ask questions at any point.

Communication & support

Support is delivered through the Method Fitness app and group Q&A. Communication stays focused on training, technique and healthy habits. Parents or guardians can be included and can contact Method Fitness directly at any time.

Age-appropriate training

Workouts are structured for teenagers: learning correct technique first, building gradually and never training through pain. Progress is about skill, confidence and consistency.

Nutrition education, not dieting

Teens learn about protein, balanced meals, hydration, sleep and recovery. Food tracking is only used for awareness. No calorie deficits, restrictive diets or weight-loss targets are ever set.

No bodybuilding pressure

There's no focus on body image, physique goals or comparison. The aim is to enjoy training, move well and build habits that last.

Safeguarding

The wellbeing of young people comes first. Communication is kept appropriate and professional, personal images are never requested, and any concerns are raised with a parent or guardian. A full safeguarding policy will be published here before launch.
